Coaching is about creating change in your life. Period. Big changes the whole world can see. Small adjustments that only those closest to you will notice, and subtle inner shifts that only the deepest parts of you will recognize. Immediate, powerful change, and long-term, sustainable life of transformation. This work is equal parts insight and discovery–figuring out what it is that you really want for yourself–and action, accountability– getting shit done. It isn’t just talking about how to change, and it’s also not just bull in a china shop, brute force getting things done. It’s recovering your self in your life. Your truest, biggest self. It’s not precious, but it is kind of magical.
Hi, I’m Megan, I work with bold, successful, ambitious, and innovative people who have triumphed by every traditional metric. Impressive educations, great jobs, chic apartments, and strong relationships—it usually looks like the picture of perfection—but something is missing. Sometimes deeply missing. I know how this feels, because it’s my story, too. I went to an amazing prep school, and graduated at the top of my class at Stanford. I did the whole big shot at Google thing, both in Silicon Valley and in New York. On paper, I was living a great life. In short, my resume was impressive. My apartment was lovely. My boyfriend was kind and handsome. My wardrobe? FLAWLESS! My life, actually? Not so great at all. It didn’t feel like my life. I was deeply unhappy, and I felt like a fraud. And, I was so, so paralyzingly stuck. I found my way out of “stuck” and got to work building a life I love living, because news flash: though widely accepted, it is not a requirement to hate your job! You don’t need to feel like life is so very hard and unfulfilling. Crazy, I know, but I’m happy to report that it is, in fact, possible to find work that doesn’t feel like work, to look forward to Monday as much as Friday, and to wake up every morning (ok, most mornings) and think “I am doing exactly what I am meant to be doing”…AND that doesn’t require giving up all worldly possessions or being a “starving artist” (hell, I still live in the West Village and don’t ever want to leave). In fact, quite the opposite is true. Finding work that inspires you and that you are uniquely well-suited to do in the world actually exponentially increases your potential for both impact and earning. If this is what you’ve been longing for, I am here to help.
